At last! You asked and we listened! A quick and easy way to have hard wired auxiliary input AND Bluetooth in your Reatta!
We are now offering radio modules upgraded with these modern features!
This module will fit in the place of your OEM module on all years of Reattas, and will work exactly as your original. But when you’re ready to play your tunes, you have two options!
First is to flip the switch for Bluetooth. Once paired with your Bluetooth device, this cuts the sound from the radio and starts drawing the sound from your device. It’s hard wired into the radio, so no audio quality issues, and no need to ever recharge! The switch comes with 3 feet of cable so you can mount it anywhere you’d like. If you’d like to mount it solidly, a 1/4″ hold can be drilled to hold the switch in place.
To go back to the radio, just flip the switch back! Easy as that.
Note: The Bluetooth doesn’t interface with phone calls since there is no microphone. Recommended to use for audio only.
If you don’t have Bluetooth, you can just as easily plug in your device in to the wired 3.5mm Auxiliary input. Just plug your cord into your device, and when you plug the other end into the receiver, the radio sound will instantly cut out and allow you to start playing the audio from your device!
